Installation recommendations:
These wall-hung toilet support frames are designed for the following types of installation:
- Against a load-bearing wall (concrete shell, plaster tiles, aerated concrete, bricks, breeze blocks) and on a concrete slab using the fixings provided.
- In a metal-framed partition wall made of reinforced rails (KNAUF, PLACO, etc.) at room height or with Geberit Duofix system rails and uprights at partial or room height (according to manufacturer's recommendations).
These wall-hung toilet support frames cannot be installed against plasterboard partition walls with a cardboard honeycomb core, against plasterboard partition walls on metal frame or against double-skin partition walls made of plasterboard on metal frame without additional accessories (substitution of the feet provided by self-supporting feet) or the addition of additional reinforcements (to be integrated beforehand into the partition at the level of the upper fixings).
These support frames for wall-hung toilets can be installed on wooden floors if they are placed against a load-bearing wall (see previous description) and their feet on a joist or batten using the lag screws provided.
